PYCD is actively seeking qualified and experienced individuals to comprise a team that will work intensely with youth to help them reach academic success in school and prepare for college or career.
Program Coordinator: Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Youth Center. Carry out administrative duties that ensure the center remains open and carries out youth services in coordination with Project Manager under the supervision of the Project Director. Coordinates, schedules and manages services offered in the Center to maximize contact hours with clients according to program requirements. Youth Center operates from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm daily. Full time Position.
Counselor/Caseworker: Responsible for providing direct client services including intake, assessment, service planning, client referrals to community and public services, follow up and coordinated case management. Will work with teachers, behavioral health counselors, service providers, parents and youth to develop an individual services plan, help youth develop college and career goals, access resources and practice skills needed to succeed; will collect program data needed for performance management and reporting; provide monthly reports to supervisor.
Prefer years of work experience and/or education in social work, counseling, case management; experience in working with high school youth. Full time Position
Youth Mentors: Responsible for developing individual service profiles for youth participants; providing mentoring services using a range of positive youth development activities and strategies for youth engagement; documentation; data collection and reporting; and assisting with planning, coordination and delivery of project activities offered at the Youth Center for youth, mentors and parents. Part time Position.
Bus Driver: Responsible for safely transporting program youth to and from school sites, project office, youth center facility and designated pick up/drop off points per assigned schedule. Report to Center Coordinator and Project Manager for weekly schedule and assignments. Comply with Office of Motor Vehicles training and licensing requirements for transporting school age youth. Part time Position.
